Most Popular Keywords for Etsy Craft Supplies in 2021
Etsy, etsy, etsy. You’re the go-to online marketplace for all things hand-crafted… But sometimes I just need to add to my stock of craft supplies and a certain Michael has the hookup for me.
What’s that you say? I can buy my craft supplies from you? On Etsy? But what about my support for big corporations? You mean they’ll do just fine without me?
Yup, it’s true. Etsy is a great resource for purchasing the craft supplies you use right in your shop! If you’re not already buying your supplies there, give it a shot and support your fellow makers.

Step right up to another episode of “Is It Long Tail?” The Etsy keywords game show where we guess whether or not keywords are long tail on Etsy! Stick around to see if Richie knows his long tail keywords. If not, he’ll eat some pretty nasty stuff! 🤢
Richie has to guess whether a keyword is long tail or not based on just his gut. He has no information. Now, he does have three lifelines that he can use and we have ten keywords for him to guess.

“Thank you once again Marmalead. I made the investment this month. After months of no sales, I followed your 1st level video so far. I made 3 $5 hat pattern sales in the last 3 days. Today I made 2 big sales. I’m so glad I made this investment.”
Facebook’s money maker has always been targeted ads. Ask yourself, how far do you have to scroll before an ad pops up in your news feed? And why is it that ads are always for something you were JUST talking about??Personally, I never knew that I needed Nicolas Cage’s face all over my pants until a Wish ad on Facebook told me so… but that’s another story.
But now, Apple’s recent move to make it harder to target iPhone users with ads has Facebook searching for a different business model. A business model that they’ve already started dabbling in with Facebook Shops, and the same business model that Zuckerberg spent a good amount of time discussing during their recent earnings call. We’re talking eCommerce, baby!
Mark shares with investors on the call: Facebook wants to create “better experiences for people interacting with businesses” and they want to do this natively on their platform instead of remaining the catalyst they’ve always been. “We want to be the best place for businesses to grow. Our next phase is building out shops, [and] marketplace” Zuckerberg continues, “to create more native commerce experiences across our app.”
What this means for the future: Facebook might not be listening to your conversations through your iPhone, but they are listening to their wallets. And in 2021, the money is increasingly pointing towards eCommerce.
