Improving Your Star Seller Experience | | | Since Etsy introduced their new Star Seller program back at the end of July, they’ve received some scathing feedback from the Seller community. Don’t believe us? Just check out the comments section in their announcement. This is pretty tame compared to some other feedback we’ve seen.
The good news: Etsy’s not blind to feedback from their most important customers, the Seller community. They recently announced some clarifications and quality of life enhancements to Star Seller. And while these fixes address some of the concerns from Sellers, we won’t be surprised if Etsy announces more tweaks in the future. Here’s a quick look:
01. They’re no longer counting messages from Etsy admins as part of your overall message response rate.
02. Any second label associated with an order, such as a return or replacement label, will no longer be counted in your on-time shipping and tracking calculation.
03. A fix is in place for sellers in the UK who use Royal Mail. Tracked orders with Royal Mail should no longer negatively impact your shipping performance.
04. An opportunity to dig deeper into message response rates is in the works for sellers. You’ll soon be able to download a CSV that has more details about your message response rate, so you can better understand which messages are being counted as late.
